Plymouth State Alumni Reunions

Whatever Plymouth you called home, we have a reunion for you!
Do you wish you could reconnect with Plymouth alumni from the class ahead or behind you, as well as your own class? The alumni office now has a plan in place to help you get reacquainted with more of your friends. There will now be two kinds of reunion groups invited to celebrate reunions at Alumni Weekend.
First, significant reunion years, called “Landmark” reunions, will be the first year, 5th year, 25th year, and 50th and higher year reunions for any given class. Those classes will be invited to campus as a single class to celebrate their reunion. The most recent graduates will be invited to come back the fall following their graduation for Homecoming & Family Celebration. For example, during the fall of 2007 we invited the class of ’07, to come back. Classes celebrating their 5th, 25th, and 50th reunions will celebrate on the corresponding year during Alumni Weekend. For example, the Classes of 2002, 1982, and 1957 held individual class reunions in 2007.
Second, some classes will celebrate with other classes as “Cluster” reunions. Classes at or near their 10th, 15th, 20th, 30th, 35th, 40th and 45th reunion years will be invited in three-year groupings or “clusters”. For example, during the summer of 2007 we invited the classes of ’71, ’72 and ’73 to come as a cluster reunion. Your cluster reunion may be a year ahead of or a year after your specific reunion year, but this allows you to reconnect with more than people from just your class. Because classes in these clusters rotate, the classes with whom you are grouped for your 15th reunion would be different than for your 20th cluster and for your 30th cluster. All graduates beyond their 50th reunion will be invited to Alumni Weekend every year as our “Senior Alumni Cluster”. We would pay special attention to those who would be celebrating their 55th, 60th, 65th and 70th reunions.
